Brit Griffin

Brit Griffin
is a ClimateCultures Author

Author of three near-future cli-fi novels and a writer of poetic/story musings, whose interests lay in reconciling with non-humans and exploring the human/creature boundaries.

I am a writer -- author of three near-future cli-fi novels that are part of a series (The Wintermen) -- also a writer of poetic/story musings.

My interest in climate change has developed due to my work in natural resources for an Algonquin community in north-western Quebec. My interests lay in reconciling with non-humans and exploring the human/creature boundaries -- also engaging people in accessible approaches to living in and mitigating climate change impacts. I live near an exhausted silver mining town on a beautiful / dreadful post-industrial landscape.

Brit is one of our members featuring their work as part of the ClimateCultures Quarantine Connection series. We shared her video piece, Radio Free Cobalt - Covid, Mice and Home, on Day 10 of the 40-day series.
