A PhD researcher exploring the ways in which encounters with interactive art may offer us different ways of knowing climate change.
I am a PhD researcher at the University of Leeds, exploring the ways in which encounters with interactive art may offer us different ways of knowing climate change.
My journey to this research project was a meandering one, taking me through the study of mathematics and literature, into the world of theatre and circus production, before taking a slightly divergent pathway into sustainable development. I worked as a project manager for Forum for the Future for five years before coming to Leeds.
I am particularly interested in aesthetic experience as knowledge, the dimensions of knowing climate change, the cognitive aspects of these, and any associated pedagogical insights.
