I’m Claire, an artist based in Norfolk and @Eyeseethingsdifferently. I have been a practising artist for five years and balance this alongside my participatory arts practice within my local community of Great Yarmouth, England.
I am hugely inspired by nature and can often be found wandering the Norfolk coastline and Broads, getting up close and personal to the fascinating displays created naturally, symbiotically being imbued with the energy to create.
I play with paint, clay, fabric and natural materials to explore how we intuitively respond to nature and the environment around us. I am currently completing a DYCP Arts Council Grant in which I am making a step change within my practice towards an environmental arts practice, which is regenerative and resonates with Permaculture ethics.
I aim through my work, to make people stop and think about the environment and the impact our behaviour has upon this finite resource.
